Thanks a lot!
I have a question, my siphon has the plunger seal damaged, it also was made of a rubber that has been completely torn in pieces, so there is no chance to make a cast. Have you found a replacement for that seal?
Regards,

Andrés (in Venezuela)Andreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14409494195699105914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-46303996135084691112016-12-11T03:59:01.666-08:002016-12-11T03:59:01.666-08:00Hi Andrew,

To make matters worse, my husband said, oh, it doesn't work because someone shoved chewing gum in there and gouged it out. I suspect that WAS the gasket.
We are not even going to try to fix it but thanks for a great article. I enjoyed reading it and I take my hat off to people who just won't let it rest :-)Louise Reynoldshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14564310211599237825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-45500035137384582162013-01-30T10:18:37.704-08:002013-01-30T10:18:37.704-08:00I stumbled across your blog while doing a search f...I stumbled across your blog while doing a search for vintage soda siphon systems. A little unrelated to your customer repair post above, do you happen to know if anyone still makes systems like this? We have a customer looking to produce a product that would go into a vintage looking bottle and they would like the spout to look like a vintage siphon. Didn't think it would hurt to pick your brain about this.

Marcia
m.chaloux@mnabax.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-57188084346021900202012-07-24T15:33:13.358-07:002012-07-24T15:33:13.358-07:00I can’t guarantee anything, but I am happy to try....I can’t guarantee anything, but I am happy to try.
You should be able to reach me through my blogger profile and either send me the photos, or send me an email address where I can reach you (you posted as "anonymous")Andrew Sigalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497546378492997366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-24410532691999083352012-07-24T14:07:06.948-07:002012-07-24T14:07:06.948-07:00Dear Andrew, what an excellent and informative blo...Dear Andrew, what an excellent and informative blog!
