(I was introduced to the French style (blade perpendicular to the handle) of peeler in cooking school, and now I would never go back.) Personally I find most orange "pumpkins" inconvenient to peel (though I do so with a chefs knife), and I prefer the taste of butternut squash.Andrew Sigalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497546378492997366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-59560064645852022442023-11-01T23:13:01.313-07:002023-11-01T23:13:01.313-07:00Thank you for your recipe. This is much more workable for me.

Now, if only I could think of a way to peel the pumpion or the butternut squash! Modern pumpkin pie (with "pumpkin spice") is something different, which is kind of the point.Andrew Sigalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15497546378492997366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8700793314658085909.post-71562703007605994822022-11-17T16:37:36.891-08:002022-11-17T16:37:36.891-08:00hi, have you tried it with pumpkin pie spice? im w...hi, have you tried it with pumpkin pie spice? im wondering if that'd work with the rest of the ingredients.
